To reach base pressure in a vacuum chamber or system in the shortest possible time, it is recommended to bake out the chamber and at the same time to bake out the Turbo-V pump. For this purpose we offer a heater band to go around the Turbo Pump. This heater band is shaped to fit the upper part of the pump and will automatically heat it to a temperature of about 80°C (176°F). This is a Heater Band for Varian Turbo-V 301 Navigator, V200, V250, V 300HT Series Turbo Pumps, 120 VAC, (This is the Heater Band ONLY, does not come with turbo pump).
