Agilent Varian Turbo V 1001 Turbo Pump Package Deal with ISO-K 200 Inlet, TV 1001 Navigator Onboard Controller, and Air-Cooling Kit.

This Agilent Varian Turbo V 1001 turbo vacuum pump package deal is ideal for laboratory applications. The package deal includes an Agilent Varian Turbo V 1001 turbo pump with ISO-K 200 inlet flange, with a pumping speed of 950 l/s, KF-40 (NW40) foreline flange, and an inlet screen. This Turbo V 1001 turbo pump has a start-up time of less than 4 minutes, has a maximum rotational speed of 38,000 rpm, and has Agilent part number 9698931. The dry scroll IDP-15 is the recommended foreline pump. This deal includes the TV 1001 Navigator Onboard Controller with 120V mains power cable (NEMA 5-15P plug). The controller mounts below the pump and has an attached short cable which connects to and powers the pump. The controller has RS232/485 serial communication, and dedicated outputs for powering an air-cooling fan and a vent valve. This package deal also includes a radial forced air-cooling kit which mounts to the bottom of the pump and plugs into the controller with a short cable. A water-cooled version is available upon request. This turbo pump package deal does not include the roughing pump, roughing lines, vacuum chamber, pressure measurement gauges, or vent valves, all of which are available and sold separately by Ideal Vacuum. This package deal is stored in our inventory as a kit, made up of many separate parts, and each is listed in our Availability of Kit Components section below.

Turbo-V 1001 Navigator turbomolecular pumps have maximum performance at minimum cost and size. The Turbo-V 1001 is a compound pump which includes Agilent Varian proprietary MacroTorr drag stage technology to achieve high-compression ratios for light gases, maximize the throughput of the pump, and extend the foreline tolerance up to 18 mbar. V series pumps can be run in any position and in any gas load working condition. Agilent Varian V series maintenance-free turbo pumps employ dry ceramic ball bearing technology using an ultra-low vapor pressure solid lubricant, which enables these pumps to provide a long service life, with a MTTF of 120,000 hours, and a high degree of cleanliness under most operating conditions. Agilent A-PLUS software allows you to connect your laptop or PC directly to the pump control unit and start to use it. You can start or stop the pump, as well as check its temperature and gas load conditions. You can also monitor pump parameters over time, as well as do straightforward diagnostics directly on the vacuum system in the Windows environment.

Notes on the Agilent Varian V1001 Navigator Controller
The Agilent Varian V1001 Navigator controller is designed to mount below or on the side and provide power for the Turbo-V 1001 turbo molecular pump, its cooling fan, and its vent valve. These Agilent Varian V1001 Navigator controllers are built to automatically operate on any input voltage between 100 to 240 VAC. The Agilent Varian Turbo-V 1001 Navigator turbo pump controllers also incorporate auxiliary 24 VDC power connectors for powering the cooling fan and vent valve devices through ports P4 and P3 respectively (see photo below). The turbo pump to controller cable is integral being built into the Turbo-V 1001 Navigator controller and is standard 1 foot length. A J1 connector on the side of the Navigator controller handles interlock an other logic (see photo below). A mating J1 interlock-jumped connector is provided with each new Turbo-V 1001 Navigator controller and this mating connector must be in place to close the interlock circuit and allow the pump to start after installation. There is also present a J2 serial port on the Turbo V 1001 Navigator controller which can be used to communicate with the turbo system using Agilent Varian T-Plus software (see optional accessories below).
