Janitor & Janitorial Position - Cleaning Service For Office & Warehouse Areas

Janitor Position

We are seeking a dedicated & detailed-orientated Janitor to join our team! The Janitor role will require attention to detail, strong worth ethic & ability to perform various small maintinance tasks such as simple plumbing, clearing clogged drains, replacing A/C filters, replacement & repair of lightning fixtures, & any other tasks given. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various buildings, ensuring a safe & welcoming environment. p>

Responsibilities

• Sweeping & Mopping floors
• Disinfecting frequently used surfaces such as esks, door handles, phones, etc.
• Removing trash & recycling bins by disposing in dumpster
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, breakroom & common areas
• Restocking necessary areas with supplies needed
• Fix minor building repairs: such as fixing drywall or painting, A/C systems service by changing filters, replacing light bulbs, and upgrading light fixtures to LED, small plumbing like clearing out stopped up drain, etc.
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment, ensuring all is working properly
• Participating in different projects (ex. renovations) or emergency tasks as needed
• Maintain record of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies & notify supervisor when needed to be replenished
• Performs all other duties assigned

Qualifications

• Abiity to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
• Comfortable in standing, walking or moving for extended periods
• Additional skills are desired, with expierence doing simple repairman jobs in the areas of plumbing, drywall patches, touch up painting, small electrical and lighting upgrades, heating & cooling system shutdown/startup with filter replacement capabilities.
