This is a normally open (N/O) valve and operates at 24 VDC. This TAV5 solenoid valve comes with a 3 meter long power cable with unterminated (bare wire) end, and has a BSPP (G) 1/8" fitting for connection into the pump’s vent port. Edwards Part Number: B58066011 This Edwards vent or purge port adapter is used to convert the G 1/8 inch (BSPP) female vent or purge port on any nEXT turbo pump to a KF10 NW10 flange. Edwards PRX10 purge restrictor for any nEXT Series Turbo Pump. Edwards Part Number: B58065001 This Edwards purge gas restrictor sets the flow rate of dry purge gas through the purge port on any nEXT turbo pump. An inert purge gas is used to protect the bearing and motor from corrosion. In order to use this purge restrictor, the vent port adapter (part number P106356) must be used to adapt the G 1/8" (BSPP) purge port to a KF10 NW10 flange. The PRX10 purge restrictor is a special KF10 centering ring with a filter and restrictor built in. This purge restrictor, as supplied, is adjusted to restrict the flow rate of dry nitrogen at a supply pressure of 25 sccm. The supply pressure can be increased to increase the flow rate.
