These M6-1.0 x 30 mm socket head cap screws (SHCS) have a diameter of M6, with 1.0 mm thread pitch, and are 30 mm long. They are non-magnetic being made of chemical and corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. Socket head cap screws have a smaller head diameter than normal screws. They are tightened using an Allen wrench (hex key) which is inserted into the recessed hex-drive socket located in the screw head. The screw length is measured from under the head (length of shaft only) and are sold as 1 each.
