Cleaning Technician

Ideal Vacuum is searching for a parts cleaning and inspection technician to support our manufacturing operations. A successful applicant has good attention to detail, likes working with their hands, and is able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Follow verbal and written instructions, cooperate with team members, and possess strong focus to stay productive. Methodical work and attention to detail are valuable assets in our team. After completing OJT (on-job training) and a probationary period, a cleaning technician at Ideal Vacuum is:

• Attentive to work area cleanliness and organization
• Concerned with work accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in correctly handling vacuum components and identifying their possible defects
• Able to correctly operate cleaning room equipment and process parts

Education/Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• Proficient in computer useage
• Experience in product assembly or cleaning is a plus!
• Experience in product packing is a plus!

Job Tasks

This position involves supporting our manufacturing team by inspecting and cleaning parts made in our shop. The following tasks are common work activities for a cleaning technician at Ideal Vacuum:

• Operating ultrasonic part washers
• Electrochemical weld cleaning/passivation
• Inspecting metal components for defects
• Entering job information on a computer
• Product bagging and tagging
• Product packaging

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Wage $22-24 per hour, depending on experience
