We pride ourselves on creating safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environments for our staff, tenants, and clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and versatile Property Serviceman to join our maintenance team.


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Property Serviceman who is well-rounded in a variety of maintenance skill sets, including refrigeration, plumbing, drywall, and electrical repair. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all building systems are functioning correctly and safely.


Key Responsibilities:


Refrigeration:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration issues, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
  • Monitor and adjust controls to regulate temperature settings.

Plumbing:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heating systems.
  • Address leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues promptly.
  • Install and replace plumbing fixtures and appliances as needed.

Drywall:

  • Repair and replace damaged drywall, including patching holes and finishing surfaces.
  • Perform painting and touch-up work as required to maintain the appearance of walls and ceilings.
  • Assist with minor carpentry work related to drywall repair.

Electrical Repair:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting.
  • Install and maintain electrical fixtures and appliances.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes and safety standards.

General Maintenance:

  • Perform routine inspections of building systems to identify potential issues.
  • Respond to service requests from tenants and management promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Assist with emergency maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • EPA Section 608 Certification: Universal Certification: For servicing all types of equipment.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in refrigeration, plumbing, drywall, and electrical repair.
  • Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Comfortable working in various conditions, including heights, tight spaces, and outdoors.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
