Kalrez 6375 Harsh Chemical Centering Ring O-Ring Replacement, ISO-63 Vacuum Fitting, ISO MF LF Flange Size NW-63 These Replacement O-Rings follow International Standards Organization (ISO) standards and have a flange size of NW-63. ISO flanged vacuum fittings are commonly used to build process vacuum plumbing and systems for industrial applications. These fittings are quick to assemble using single or double claw clamps and a centering ring (please see top right figure - click to enlarge). The ISO standard sizes for LF NW ISO large flanges are NW-63, NW-80, NW-100, NW-160, NW-200, NW-250, NW-320, NW-400, NW-500, NW-630. These O-Rings are made with Kalrez 6375 perfluoroelastomer for harsh chemical environments. These O-Rings are designed to work in the widest possible range of chemicals and temperatures. This product is an excellent choice for use in acids, bases, amines, steam, ethylene oxide, and many other aggressive chemicals. The curing system also allows for a continuous upper service temperature of 275°C (525 °F). This is approximately 100°F higher than other products claiming broad chemical resistance. This high temperature stability translates to increased chemical resistance over all temperature ranges, especially if high temperature process excursions occur. This combination of chemical and thermal resistance provides advantages for chemical process evacuation. For many applications, low volume swell of elastomers is critical to proper operation of equipment and sustained vacuum. Excessive swell may cause permanent seal failure due to equipment hangup, or extrusion. Volume swell is an excellent predictor of performance and Kalrez O-Rings have some of the lowest swells to harsh chemicals. Kalrez 6375 has excellent heat resistance to go along with its outstanding chemical resistance.
