It can run on 100-230 VAC and has a single phase motor. The XDD1 is a compact and efficient pump, often used for backing small turbomolecular pumps in clean, high vacuum applications. It can also be used as a free standing bench top pump. A typical ultimate pressure of better than 5x10-8 mbar can be achieved when using an XDD1 to back a 70 l/s turbomolecular pump. XDD1 pumps are intended for use on non-aggressive, safe area applications. The XDD1 pump is also used to backup Edwards T-Station Turbo Systems.
