Leybold TURBOLAB Core 250i, Conflat CF 6.0 Inch Inlet Flange, 250 l/s Pumping Speed, Ultimate Pressure 3.75x10-10 Torr, DIVAC 1.4 Backing Pump.
KF-16 Exhaust Flange, 1-Phase 110/230 VAC, Leybold Part Number: 501591V09000500.
The Leybold TURBOLAB Core 250i is a cost-efficient easy to use bench top vacuum pumping station that comes with Conflat CF 6.0 inch inlet and KF-16 exhaust flanges. The overall pumping speed for nitrogen is 250 liters/sec and reaches an ultimate pressure of 3.75x10
-10Torr (5x10
-10 mBar), making it a true ultra-high vacuum (UHV) pumping system. The Turbolab Core 250i includes a TURBOVAC 250i pump and a DIVAC 1.4 oil-free backing pump that helps fulfill all expectations in terms of reliability, simplicity, and precision. The system operates on either 1-phase 110 or 230 VAC and has Leybold part number 501591V09000500.
They are one of the simplest high-vacuum system to use; as they have a single start/stop button for the entire pumping station. This innovative design incorporates a turbomolecular pump and a backing pump together with a simple controller, all 3 fitted on a robust baseplate, making it the ideal solution for many applications. With its one-gauge connection the TURBOLAB Core pumping station can be operated with either a TTR 91RN, TTR 101, PTR 90N, or PTR 225N vacuum gauge. Additionally, you can connect a venting valve with the turbomolecular pump. With the option gauge fitted, the controller can display gauge pressure or turbopump speed.
These pumping systems have appealing features: such as being absolutely oil-free, having a low ultimate pressure (free of hydrocarbons), and are compact with a high reliability level. They are designed to be maintenance free, air cooled, and delivered with its standard components factory fitted all in its single encloser.
Some Applications:
- Spectroscopy
- Tube manufacturing
- Beam Guidance systems
- Micro Balances
- Surface Physics
- Sputtering or Evaporating Systems
The system must not be used for pumping flammable or combustible compounds and vapors, toxic gases, radioactive, or pyrophoric substances. Nor should they be used in vacuum applications where the oxygen content exceeds the concentration of the atmosphere (~ 21%).
