Edwards VS16K Vacuum Adjustable Switch, KF16, NW16 flange. Edwards Part Number D05915000 The Edwards VS16K is a general purpose vacuum switch with a user adjustable set-point and small switching differential. This diaphragm operated vacuum switch is high vacuum compatible and corrosion resistant with all wetted parts made from stainless steel. A high current rating allows direct switching of loads without additional relays or external power supplies. IMPORTANT NOTE: This switch should not be used for safety critical applications. For many interlock applications the Edwards IS16K Interlock Switch may be more suitable. Edwards IS16K Vacuum Interlock Switch, KF16, NW16 flange. Edwards Part Number D05914000 The Edwards IS16K Vacuum Interlock Switch is designed for applications where the electrical circuits within the vacuum chamber must be de-energized when the vacuum system is let up to atmosphere. Typical applications would be the interlocking of H.T. and R.F. power supplies on vacuum coating systems. The interlocking switch consists of a positive break micro switch operated by a snap action diaphragm to ensure rapid separation of the micro switch contacts. The diaphragm is enclosed within the vacuum switch housing which is surrounded by atmospheric pressure and is coupled to the vacuum system by a KF16 NW16 flange. The absolute switch point pressure will therefore vary by the same amount as the atmospheric pressure. A high current rating allows direct switching of loads without additional relays or external power supplies. The set-point is non-adjustable and cannot be tampered with. The IS16K is high vacuum compatible and corrosion resistant, with all wetted parts made from stainless steel.
