Conflat CF 2.125 in. (CF 2-1/8) High Vacuum Bulkhead Feedthrough Adapter, Stainless Steel with Viton O-Ring, for 1" Hole Through, up to 1" Thick. These bulkhead feedthroughs have a Conflat CF 2-1/8 in. fitting. They are used to quickly add a CF 2.125" port to any flat plate. This bulkhead fitting requires a 1" hole through and can be used on bulkheads up to 1" thick. Because these bulkhead fittings use a Viton O-ring thread seal, ultimate vacuum is limited to the high vacuum regime (approximately 10-8 Torr), and maximum bakeout temperature is 150°C. ConFlat (CF) flanges are typically used for ultra-high vacuum applications. Flange sizes are given by flange outer diameter in inches: 1-1/3 ("mini conflat"), 2-1/8, 2-3/4, 3-3/8, 4-1/2, 6, 8, 12, 13-1/4, 14, and 16-1/2. CF flanges use a copper gasket and knife-edge flanges to achieve the ultra-high vacuum seal. CF flanges can operate down to 10-13 torr (10-11 Pa) and can be heated to 450 °C for bake-out.
